Pants Or Leggings
The harness that you will wear at a zip line course goes under your legs and around your waist, so the pants you wear will be very important. You will want to avoid wearing shorts, especially athletic shorts. While longer shorts can work, it is always better to wear long pants, leggings, or capris. You will also want to choose the right fabrics, preferably pants that have moisture wicking and are designed for athletic activity.
Close-Toed Shoes
It’s also important to remember to pack close-toed shoes whenever you go to your zip line course for your adventure. While most of your time will be spent in the air, you will still be walking quite a bit, most likely through semi-rough terrain. You will have to land on each platform once you reach the end of the zip line and having close-toed shoes will help prevent any potential accidents or injuries.
Depending on which facility you are visiting, close-toed shoes might be required. At many zip line courses you won’t be allowed to participate if you are not wearing the proper shoes.
An Athletic-Fit Shirt
Lastly, it’s important to choose the right shirt for your adventure. You will want to pick a shirt that you are comfortable in, but that also isn’t too long or baggy. If you choose a shirt that is too long or baggy, the harness will bunch it up, making your ride uncomfortable and even dangerous. An athletic fitting shirt is the best option for zip lining. Although you won’t be doing any heavy lifting or serious athletic activities, you will still be outside moving around, so having the right shirt will help keep you comfortable all day long.
