Job Title: Zip Line Operations Assistant
Job Location: Middleburg, VA
Job Status: Seasonal (March through November) Full-time
Reports To: General Manager
Position Summary
Responsible for assisting the General Manager in ensuring a smooth and efficient zip line operation. This position will experience every facet of the zip line operation on a regular basis. From processing reservations and administrative tasks to customer check-in to adventure guiding – this person will gain valuable customer service experience. The candidate will be someone who is self-starting, energetic and focused who embraces ever increasing responsibility and challenge. The Zip Line Operations Assistant position is a valuable role that helps support our mission of delivering extraordinary customer experiences that promote self and team development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Contribute to a positive, supportive team atmosphere and model a “can do” attitude
- Responsible, reliable, punctual and committed to job
- Family friendly, pleasant and courteous in all interactions with guests
- Able to make risk management decisions
- In alignment with Empower Adventures Middleburg mission
- Communicates well with co-workers, Zip Line Guide Manager, and General Manager
- Safe and responsible use of all Empower gear and equipment
Qualifications
- Computer skills (PC applications)
- Experience working with diverse clientele
- Flexible Schedule
- Must be committed to work entire season (March through November)
- Ability to walk, stand, and/or hang in a harness for long periods of time
- Able to lift and carry 50lbs. of weight and hike 3 miles per day
- Strong self-care skills
- Drug Free
